Houston — June 1, 2017. If you missed the FIRST Robotics Championships (FRC) held at George R. Brown & Minute Maid Park in April, then you have another opportunity to see hundreds of the brightest high school students in the country compete at the upcoming Texas Robotics Invitational (T.R.I.) held at Strake Jesuit High School on Friday, June 30th and Saturday, July 1st. 38 high school teams from around the country will compete with their 120 pound robots that they have designed and built. Exciting matches! Informative workshops. Free admission. One of the largest summer robot tournaments in Texas. Families look forward to one of the best free summer educational activities in Houston.
