We had to disassemble most of the robot today to be able iterate several of the systems. The lift came off so we could double the spring force helping it extend. The electrical belly pan was removed so we could swap in the new sheet metal version. We also put the first pieces of a hanging device on the robot.
By the end of the day tomorrow we should have all the pieces put back to gather so we can do some full systems tests.
We dropped off most of the pieces for the competition robot to be powder coated today at Royalty Metal Finishing Inc. We should have them back Monday morning, so we can assemble the competition robot during the last week of the season.
